He is biting you and licking you the way he would fight with and groom another kitten. You have to teach him how to play with a human. Say no and ignore him whenever he gets rough.

The litter box issue is common for a cat with long hair. Again, he's very young and hasn't mastered grooming. He may need help until he figures it out. You can carefully trim some of the hair around his bum so poo doesn't get stuck so easily. Maybe the vet could help today.

Okay, also, he doesn't lift his tail when he goes, how can I teach him that?

Also is this kind of crust normal in a kitten? It looks red.

P.S I just can't teach him to play nicely for the life of me -_-

This is how it goes:

>We're playing with his toy.

>He bites me

>I gasp, take my finger away (slowly as to not make it seem like I'm trying to play with him) and I put him on the ground, or just ignore him

>He thinks I'm joking or something, and bites me again -_-

Cats usually have their tails parallel to the ground when they go. Do you mean more out of the way than that? Is he using the litter box every time now? I think he's probably going to get better as he gets older, but some of this could be do to feeling uncomfortable in the litter box you have.

The eye gunk is normal. Ask the vet about all the eye discharge you've seen for your peace of mind.

Oh? My older cat always lifted his tail when he went potty, and never got anything on his backside, He was exactly the same as this guy, same breed and everything, and he was 3 m/o old when we got him, I guess this guy is just different, I thought all cats do this. I guess he's normal then.

Yeah, he's been using the litterbox everytime.

But there was poop on the ground, didn't look like a skid mark, just a bit of a drag. Most likely because of him getting it stuck on his backside, and scraping it on the ground.

It was near the litterbox, so maybe he couldn't get there in time? It didn't look like his normal size of poop, it was smaller. and not the normal shape size etc. It was like a piece of pudding, it was hardened though, so don't know if diarrhea or? It was like 3/4 of a spoonfull of pudding that fell on the ground, I can't describe it very well, or give pictures, since it's been wiped away.

Yay! He groomed his leg for the first time! He usually only grooms his front paws. ONLY.

Now he's groomed the back two legs, and the front.

Yay! Or was it because I bathed him..

FYI, He never grooms himself, only the paws.

NEVER Grooms. except for the front two paw/leg.

If you continue to help him groom with a warm, damp towel he will get the idea. He will need your help until he does.

Omg, I forgot the most vital part.

He's lost his appetite.

He's playing rn, and he acts normal, he's been passing normally.

But he eats less.

Before he used to eat 1 1/2 spoons full of wet food

Now it's only 1 or even 1/2 of a spoonfull.

Can it be because I leave dry food without a puzzlefeeder when I'm gone?

My father has started giving him dry food instead of me, and instead of doing a home-puzzle feeder, he just leaves it on a tissue -_-

But I don't think he'd HALF his appetite just because of wet food..

Opinions?

Also, how to stop him from chewing on my wires? I'm a gamer, so there's alot of wires.

I gave him his own playing wire, but he uses my headphones...

Help?

There are some tricks for wires.  You can google it.  Depending on the wires you can spray bitter apple, you can get some sort of tube to run the wires through, like paper towel rolls or something from the hardware or office supply store.

The kitten could be teething and need something to chew on.  One member dampens a washcloth and freezes it.  It helps soothe the kittens gums and give him something hard to chew on.  When he is done, wash and refreeze.  It might be a good idea to have a couple to rotate.

Ok, I'm worried sick right now.

He's acting real weird.

It all started when he randomly growled under my chair, 3 times.

After that and before that even, he's biting me, running away from me.

He doesn't want to sit on me.

He's still wanting to play with me, I think.

He does this thing where it looks like he's gonna vomit, but he doesn't.

He's done this since he got here, I thought it was normal since our old kitten did that too.

Like I said before, he's lost his appetite a bit.

He runs away from me.

Bites me, and he's just not acting normal.

I can't go to the vet. For um.. reasons. Can't.

Help please?

P.S Him not getting his shots on time, is that really bad? He'll get them in a week MAXIMUM, probably tomorrow.

I thought you were taking him to the vet today? He should be fine to wait on the shots for a week, but if you're concerned about other things he should go sooner. The vomiting thing doesn't sound normal to me, but I don't know exactly what you mean.

Don't let him play with any wires. He won't be able to differentiate between his play wire and others.

Kittens do get feisty, and he could just be playing with you. It doesn't sound like he's lost his appetite, just that he's eating lots of other things too. How much dry food is he getting?

I'd say about 1 or 1 and a half full spoon.

What size is a spoon? It seems to me that if he's eating throughout the day he's probably fine. We would need to know how much food he's getting total to confirm.

If you can't figure out how much he is eating, you can figure out if he is eating less by the amount he's pooping.

Nah, he's pooping fine, but I've stopped his dry food. Vet says it's bad quality (I called him).

Also, could this be constipation? Look at his poop. It's in little pieces. By pooping fine I mean the quantity.
