Extremely high liver count. The vet wanted me to rush him. They did an ultrasound and he seems to have a liver infection which they are going to treat with fluids for dehydration and antibiotics. My question is has anyone had experience with this? How long will he be there :(

I haven't dealt with this but I hope your kitty gets better soon.  My kitty had high liver enzymes from fatty liver which is completely different from an infection.  I actually think this is the first time I have heard of this.  Inflammation is actually fairly common but I believe that this is the first time I have heard of an infection in the liver.  I know when my kitty had fatty liver he was on an antibiotic because the inflammation made an infection more likely.

I haven't dealt with that, sorry. But is he doing okay? My cat had to go to the vet for a really bad Urinary Infection, and I understand what it feels like... I hope hes okay!
