This summer cat caregivers at a local business asked for help with a mom cat and kittens because one of the kittens had disappeared and the mom had something wrong with her mouth. Friends and I caught the mom and the remaining 2 kittens and I took them home confident that I could find them homes through a rescue that I foster for. Unfortunately, they tested positive for feline leukemia so my group was unable to take them in.

Mom Ariadne's mouth is better now after a visit to the vet and son Jam is doing very well, but lonely since we lost his brother Jelly when we took the boys in to be neutered (fluid in his lungs). Since I have other cats, Ari and Jam are living in my tiny bathroom which is no place for a very active 6 month old kitten and his mom. They really need more room and a better life than I can give them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you,
Tia

With google, and by calling rescue groups, your vet etc you might find an FeLV sanctuary...

I was able to rehome a FIV+ kitten (Different disease, I know) by putting up notices in my local vets office asking people who had FIV+ cats that wanted a companion to get in touch. My vet was actually really helpful and pointed the notice out to all of his customers who had FIV+ cats. Maybe you could try something like this?
