Staggering kitty

My sweet kitty is unbalanced and staggering as if she was drunk or like when she first came home after being spayed. She fully recovered from that, but now, three weeks later is seeming really sick. It was very helpful to read a previous thread on the issue and after seeing the vet tomorrow, I will hopefully have some answers. She likes to drink water from the back patio where the brick is low and it grosses me out bc it is looks nasty. I try to keep it dry, but she drinks from it after the sprinklers go off like a little "turkey-butt"!  :/ I wonder if that could have anything to do with it? I hope it is just a middle ear infection.

Does your kitty spend time outside other than on the patio?  I don't want to scare you but antifreeze poisoning will make an animal appear drunk initially.  

It's not uncommon for pets to stagger and have poor coordination right after they undergo anesthesia. The drugs take awhile to work out of their system, and how fast they return to normal depends on what kind was used/health condition of pet/length of time they were under/etc. If it's been 3 weeks and your kitty isn't doing well you should go back to the vet ASAP.
