My kitten is 4-5 months old. This morning she climbed a tree and got to high and couldn't get down but she panicked and started to climb down incorrectly and fell a good 10ft and hit two branches and the floor pretty hard. She ran in the house and hid but we got her out of her hiding place and put her on my bed. she seemed like she was in shock and we checked her eyes, breathing and felt her to see if she had anything broken but she seems okay in that aspect. She meowed at us and tried to bite us when we tried to touch her stomach. we think she might have hit her nose because it is was red with a scratch and when she tries to walk she moves slowly with a bit of a limp. she is reacting normally. she just seems super sleepy and sensitive. what should i do? she is just sleeping right now.

Wow, I would have taken her to the vet just to make sure she is ok. Poor baby, she must have been so scared

Agree with previous posts. I'd have her checked out by a vet. Especially since her abdomen is sore and she is limping.

Let us know what you find out.

She could have internal bleeding. It's very important that she goes to a vet asap

Vet.  Vet now.  The tummy should not be tender, and if she is walking slowly, she might have dislocated something.  The longer you wait, the harder that is to repair.  Right now, I'm more concerned with the tender tummy after hitting two branches.  There could well be internal problems.

Please, please, please keep us posted!
