Is it okay to use bug spray

Hey I have a cat and the bugs in one room is rediclous would it be okay to take him out the room for a few hours then bring it back in after that?

Just do a tonne or research on the compound they are going to use. See how long the residue lasts. I would be super cautious, cats are very sensitive to many chemicals.
