Pictures of Boomer/poly paw!

Hi...we got our new kitty today and he is happy and loving it here. I took a few pictures of him and of his interesting paws. He has 6 toes on the front paws and 5 on the back like normal. The girl at the shelter was surprised and said, "he has extra toes!"

He just lies around on everyone's lap and rolls over on our feet and wants to be loved sooo much. He's perfect for our family and we are in love!

I don't know if I can post more than one picture in a post, so I'll post a few on this thread so you can see him.

What a cutie he is!! And look at all those toes! In some cultures, polys are considered to be very good luck to anyone who owns them.

BTW, sounds like he may have an extra toe on the back, too. When you said he has 5 on the back I had to go & look at my cats - they all have only 4 toes on their back feet, and 5 on the front.

What an adorable cat he is. I love those Poly Pawed kitties. When I was a child I had a Poly and I named her Mittens.

Hey, I just counted his toes and he actually has 7 toes on his front paws....one is tucked in between the two paw sections..it has a claw and everything...and that's not counting the little pad back on the wrist..is that the dew claw?

OMG I love those toes!!! It's so interesting, he has the full six on the front. Zoey has like 5 and a half LOL. It's like one of them didnt fully develop so it looks like she has thumbs

WOW I just read this!! That is insane LOL. Sounds like that tucked in one is exactly like Zoey's half paw! Except Zoey has no dew claws in the front.. very odd.

Zoey also has an extra claw on one back foot, so that's 5 on one back foot and 4 (normal) on the other back foot.







CONGRATS AGAIN!! I just love extra toed cats.. they are truly special
