mega colon and raised liver enzymes

hello group....afraid in NY....Pooh Bear has mega colon...he is doing well on Royal Canin Veterinarian fiber response for felines....

He isn't eating now but pooping thanks to the fiber response...last week we went to the vet I thought he was not constipated since

he has been pooping and eating..but an exam showed me wrong, he was backed up but not hard so over this week he has passed

the stool....huge....now the liver enzymes being high could be from an infection of having the feces in him...day 8 on amoxicillin.  2 more days 2 go...he is loosing weight he has been through so much and such a wonderful cat....

Has anyone else experienced this?  not only the mega colon but the liver enzymes high?

I have not experience megacolon and raised liver enzymes, but my girl has kidney disease, and every once in awhile,her liver enzymes will go out of whack.  she will get an antibiotic and they will go back in line.  It's just something that happens.  We don't know why.  Thankfully the antibiotics works, and that's all that matters.
