I have 4 cats -

They get a breakfast and dinner meal, each comprised of a mix of Primal freeze-dried nuggets, canned food, and extra water all mixed together.

They get a kibble snack right before bed (I was using Orijen for a long time, but have been using NV Raw Boost lately because I had a boatload of coupons haha)

For treats, they get Purebites (chicken, turkey, or duck) and a couple of them really like the Orijen freeze-dried treats - the original and the ranch-raised lamb.   They also like Wysong treats and Wysong chicken Archetype (I've used that in place of Primal before when I've run out).     They also like the Catmandoo bonito flakes (I use this as a topper if I'm having a hard time getting them to finish a meal)

They also really like the CatSip lactose-free milk - it's a good way to get even more liquid into them too

They get a pretty good variety of canned food:

Soulistic Good Karma chicken

Tiki Cat puka puka luau chicken

Nutro Natural Choice -  any of the minced or sliced varieties (they don't like the loaf ones)

Nutro Max Cat

Pride Rockstar Rabbit

Earthborn Chicken Catcciatori

Weruva Truluxe quick 'n quirky

Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken & Nine Liver

Purina Pro Plan True Nature

Sheba Cuts (chicken)

Canidae Life Stages & Grain Free Pure varieties

I've had some luck with Primal's frozen raw.   They didn't like the NV frozen raw.

Hmmm.....nope haven't ever seen that flavor before.  At the little indy pet store I go to, the chicken cacciatore is the only non-fish flavor of Earthborn they have.  I will look for that flavor online and test it out on the gang - thanks!

Does anyone feed ZiwiPeak Air Dried? I wondered if I could use it for a topper .
I feed ZP air dried. You could use it as a topper. I mix it with Orijen kibble that mine eat in between meals/sometimes for dinner.

i've since discontinued feeding Nutro to my ragdoll. It seemed to cause him lots of gas and soft stools.

Mine are on a raw diet at the moment, mostly because I don't really trust any brands over here :S (they're all either Whiska's or this strange looking 'Meow'??) I /would/ feed them Royal Canin if I could, but I've heard a lot of horror stories about that brand, I'm not sure if they're true, but I wouldn't want to risk it Dx

Anyway, food's available for my furbabies all the time!! And I feed them chicken heads, mostly, along with liver, port, lungs, heart and any other organ that I can find. It's a plus because I get their food completely free from the butcher up the road!! I also sometimes cook them some boiled chicken for treats and lil' snacks. They thrive on the diet they're on now, they don't need to drink water at all because of the water in the chicken heads (I boil half of them and leave the other half fresh with all the blood -- though they're ALWAYS thoroughly washed), so I know they're not dehydrated!! :D It's only in the summer when they drink most, but I always have a water bowl out just in case! Their stools are also nice and firm, though Indie occasionally gets a bout of diarrhea when he manages to get into the kitchen and eat some Asian sweets that he's not meant to xD He's addicted to them though he's so cute!

For wet, I feed Catz Finefood, Thrive Complete, Nature's Menu, GranataPet and occasionally Almo Nature Classic pouches.

For dry, I feed Royal Canin urinary s/o for Shadow, and flip between Aatu and Purizon for Asha.

Asha also gets Nature's Menu freeze dried raw occasionally, and Nature's Menu and Cosmo Snackies for treats (very occasionally - we have them in for the greyhound, and she'll come and beg for one every so often).

Midi gets Nature’s Variety Raw in the morning sprinkled with taurine powered. In the afternoon and evening he gets Nature’s Variety or Weruva canned with Dasuquin and Ascenta Feline Omega 3. I really think that the Ascenta Omega 3 has done wonders for him,I highly recommend it

When I adopted Ruby 2 years ago, she often had diarrhea and vomiting.

The vet suggested Royal Canin hypo-allergenic wet food and that solved her problems. Therefore she's been eating that ever since. It is a bit pricey, but worth it.   She also gets a few Temptations treats and a few Royal Canin treats every day.

My girls all eat Grandma Z's. It's a very high quality grain free dry food and they love it. They all get 1/3 of a cup a day but Maya and Zoey get it in 2 meals while Aria, the kitten, gets 3. I prefer to give them dry since their water intake is fine and it's much better for keeping their teeth healthy, but they'll get wet if they're not eating or we're out of the dry and haven't gotten to the store yet. Aside from their main food they get Whiskas Temptations treats (their favorite is the seafood flavor) and occasionally a little bit of chicken or tuna for training.

My cat, Mocha inhales Fancy Feast Classic beef or chicken wet food, but she doesn't tolerate it well. She was throwing it up. So, I switched her to Wellness Complete dry food and she hasn't thrown up since I switched. I also pour 3 teaspoons of cranberry pomegranate probiotic on her 1st meal in the morning. I think that her tummy is happy...so I am happy! :)
