Mom is part siamese, and I am not sure what dad is, but I know that babies are beautiful.

Yes, its normal.  If the owner isnt there looking on, he often doesnt notice if there was an afterbirth - which shows how quick they are with eating it...  They dont want to leave traces. Also, therie is quite some nourishment, and probably also useful hormones.

But 3-4 is enough, if they eat more there is some danger for diarrheas.

Okay. Is the afterbirth attached to anything? If she has another I want to be able to grab it without hurting her or the baby

I do not believe so....StefanZ will answer better than I---in humans if it has been expelled, it is not connected to anything.

kattykat1, you have done so well....your husband also...even though you said he 'freaked'.....

I applaud
both of you for your love and caring of your "babies" both old and new......((hugs))

as an added note: I wish I could adopt one of these babies......sigh

Not number 5 just the after birth from number 4. She decided not to eat that or cut the cord, but she is exhausted!

Thank you all for the support :) Not sure if she is done. But she is definately protective, but I think she understands we are helping her. She let me cut the cord of the 4th one, and she watched the baby the whole time, but you could tell she didn't mind me handling the little one. Im so proud of her I could cry hahaha.

Its not attached to her, but may be attached to the baby.  So try to stop her from eating the placenta, but wait till she has chewed off the cord.   Yeah, it may be touchy sometimes.

Good question!!

I know in humans, for identical twins/triplets, etc; they put some nail polish on one of the toes or fingernails.

Anyone have any ideas?

Happy everything went well..

Please keep us updated with all of this...

Now it seems, that Misty needs rest, and lots of nutrition in order to feed her 'crew"....

Good job!

Misty sounds like an ideal mom.....

she trusts you so much....thank you...

As said, you can probalby wait awhile with cutting off the cord.   If necessary,  you cut off as discussed earlier.

You can smear something containing glucose sugar on her lips, for example glucose syrup, white caro syrup,  honey water...  Gives quick energy.

Common sugar works too, but is much slower.

Also, she may need to drink some water.
