Hello, just today I notice my stray Leo having a baldness under his chin and his nose bride was a bit blackish(?)  so I've searched around a bit and it looks very similar to this cat and it seems to be mosquito allergies... sadly, Leo sleeps outside because he isn't allowed indoors and there has been a couple times when I spend time with him mosquitoes will fly around him and I have to bat it away. (hence I suspect mosquitoes) I will definitely be cleaning his hangout area later on in the morning just to make sure everything's okay. uhm, I was wondering what are some simple home remedy's to help make him better?

would this or this be of any help? Leo didn't scratch his chin part but from the scary photos of how the turnout could be, I'm starting to worry for him. Thank you in advance

If he hasn't been to the vet, I would take him. Sometimes chin acne can be a sign of dental issues. He might also be allergic to fleas, so a good flea treatment would help. If it is mosquitoes, perhaps a bug zapper would help cut down on how many there are. It would help with flies, too.

I can't comment on the products you posted because I am unfamiliar with them.

BTW, are you sure Leo is a boy? Most tri-colored cats are females.

Hello Ondine!

Yes Leo has been to the vet and received his shots before and no that''s not a photo of him. That photo was just a comparison on the nose and chin area from what leo's got on his face. Here's a photo of Leo from months ago. I couldn't get a better shot of his face and the chin yesterday because he won't let me and I didn't feel like forcing him. I still had some medicine the doctor gave me from the last visit and I wonder if it could be used for him. There was another pinkish liquid and some iodine. (the doct didn't label the medicines apparently) >_<

Leo gets stress out whenever he goes to the vet, I'll prefer to try some home remedies first :( at lesat for these few days.

As Ondine mentioned, there are  Anti-flying bug devices....  If you have such a one near his sleeping place, it would always help some.

Is this bald spot itching him?  So he must scratch?  Or is it just bald?
