Saying Goodbye To Sophie.

This made not just my day but my whole weekend!!  I'm so glad that she's back and I bet she is too!!! I bet she won't do that again! She knows now exactly how good she has it at home!

I have some wonderful news. I found Sophie!

This afternoon I got a call from a farmer who had seen our Lost Cat posters. He said that a cat had been hanging around his field recently. We went down to check and it was Sophie. She came out as soon as she heard us call.

She's lost a lot of weight, but she's unharmed apart from that. She's just polished off two bowls of wet food and now she's purring on my lap.

Thank you all so much for sending positive vibes our way. I'm sure that helped to keep her safe these six weeks.

The Grumpy Cat toy was a present from my friend Yuko. She gave it to me to cheer me up when Sophie first went missing. She always said Sophie looks like a cheerful Grumpy Cat. I think it must have brought me luck, now the whole family are back together.

Oh wow. I know that this thread is about Sophie and as a mom to another Sophie, I am beyond thrilled that she's home safe and sound but just look at the smile on Happy. Her name suits her perfectly.

I've noticed that in most of her more recent photos, she's got that smile. She really is Happy. @Norachan you are an angel to all of the cats who are fortunate enough to cross your path. I love seeing pictures of your clowder. They are all so beautiful and it's so obvious by the look in their eyes that they know that they are safe and loved and that they all really have that same love for you. Stay at home, Sophie. There really is nothing better out there for you.

AWESOME! I just read your post and was so upset about poor Sophie.....you can't imagine how thrilled I was to see that you have found her! Great job posting Lost Cat posters.

Oh my! Just as I was almost sobbing, I read your post about finding Sophie and .. I just can't begin to describe the feeling of relief!

This is the most scary thing, anyone who shares their life with pets, can go through. Your buddy disappearing and you not being there to prevent it. Just the guilt that strikes you is enough to make you go nuts.

Thank God, that farmer was thoughtful enough to pay attention to the posters and notify you, @Norachan
