Hi, there's a stray I'm looking after. She's been hanging around for the past few months. Brought her to the vet before because she was wheezing and the vet told us her teeth are in bad shape and need to be extracted. The problem is she's a stray and I can't keep her in the house as someone in the family is allergic to cats. Any advice on whether the cat will feel stress and run away after that? Will still need to leave her soft food after the extraction. Thanks in advance.

Hi does the vet know the kitty is wheezing? That could be herpes but could be something else.i would make sure that this kitty can be put under safely. That a respiratory issue is not happening. As for it staying around I would assume it will need meds for pain & maybe inflammation afterwards.Do you feed it daily? Does it know you?As depending on feeding & if meds can be introduced into food would be questions I would be asking.C.

Thanks C! My neighbour and I feed her daily so she will come to us when she wants food or play. Bringing the cat to the vet in a while...will ask the vet what we can do after the procedure. Really hope she'll be fine.
