I am in Lower Michigan. This picture was taken in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan where there are Moose.

Wow, I didn't realize there were any moose in the UP. I have friends in Alaska that deal with them all the time and have quite a few funny stories, but nothing quite like this.

OMG that moose's head is bigger than the whole cat! Kitty looks a bit disconcerted at that big nose coming at her!

There are moose in Michigan. Nearly 1000 moose at best count. The Michigan DNR (with assistance from Ontario, Canada) has been working hard to repopulate the moose here in Michigan since it was nearly wiped out by the turn of the 20th century. In 2002, 22 new calves were seen with 33 GPS collared cows.

I can only imagine what that cat is thinking ... It's a good thing for the cat that moose are not carnivores. I wonder who ran first, the cat or the moose?

Wow!!! That's a funny picture, but I wonder what the cat thought of the big creature next to it...
