Hello from Butterscotch and Midnight

Hello everyone! Call me Makayla or Mo, ether works. I'm the fur mom to my eight year old Butterscotch who I've had since she was a kitten. She's the queen around here, lol! I also have Midnight, a black "stray" who comes around every morning to hang out and eat. I have no idea if he has an owner around here, but he is such a sweet boy. We've been getting to know each other for a while and he now runs up and climbs on my lap and meows. They both are outside cats. Looking forwards to meeting you and your cats! Butterscotch. Midnight, who was meowing nor hissing, lol!

Thank you! I really have no idea, he gets tons of love and food from me though! He was really skittish at first and ran away every time I moved, but now he is a cuddle bug.

Thank you! I believe so, I don't know exactly what mix she is. I got her and her sister Cookie when they were tiny, I have some baby pics to.
Sadly Cookie is no longer with me, she dissappeared one day a few years ago, so she ether has a new loving home or has crossed the bridge.

Sorry about Cookie, I hope she found a loving home.

I love torties and of course I love all cats, they are all so cute to me.

Cats love so priceless, it gives me a lot of comfort.

That would be her.  Some days I am convinced she is a punishment for past sins, and some days I know to the bottom of my soul that she is actually an angel masquerading as a cat.  Her name is Hekitty Renee, and we've share a home for the past 7 years.  Goodness...it'll be 8 come early May.  She was born on April 1, and her mama's mama decided that at four weeks, she'd had enough of kittens, so she showed up with the one that I chose, and the one that my (then) roommate chose.  They barely had teeth, and were still wobbling around...OFF to Walleyworld to pick up bottles and kitten formula.  We bottle-fed and soft fed kittens for four weeks until I was sure that they were old enough for solids.  As a result, Hekitty thinks i'm her mama, and spends vast amounts of time smurgling on my arm.  She's what I refer to as a "2nd degree smurgler"...she kneads and nuzzles, but, thank goodness, doesn't drool.  She's full of tortitude, and full of allergies, but I adore her!

Awe, what an adorable story! She's a cutie. Thought I'd share some pics from this morning. Neither want to hold still, lol!

Love the pictures. As far as the non-matching socks. My DD thinks I'm weird because I wear matching socks. I guess it's one of the many IN things.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, life has been busy. I don't have any new pictures atm but I do have a question. Where am I supposed to make a thread for them? I don't want to take up space here, lol. we're still doing good, Midnight still coming and being a cuddly boy. He feels so chunky compared to other cats I know! Butterscotch is still ruling the roost, relaxing. And I'm glad you all enjoyed my socks, lol.

Hi ButterscotchM! I understand how busy life can be sometimes! You can post pictures of your furbabies under the thread in the General Forum called "Fur Pictures and Videos only". Then, you can also post pictures under threads for specific types of cats. You have a black cat and a tortoiseshell? There is a thread for pictures of "Calicos, Tortoiseshells, and Orange cats" only.
