The mother is a Himalayan Persian Teacup. Her birthday was on the 3/11/15.  [I know, so young to be giving birth.

Thanks!

She should settle down more over the next day or two. First-time moms (and she's very young) often need time to adjust.

Not sure about the clicking noise. Hopefully it's just the kittens rooting for a nipple.

By all means do not allow her to sit on her kittens. Also, please help the kittens find a nipple as long as they need help. Eventually they should establish their favorite nipple and stick with it. Her milk may not be fully in yet. Cats have colostrum the first day or so.

I would leave her in the bedroom with you so you can supervise. You should put her food, water, and litter in there too. Is there a closet in the bedroom that you can put the nest in with the closet door cracked? if not, she will become less distracted as she adjusts over the next few days.

Do you plan to spay her after this litter?

Yes we do plan to spay her once she and her litter is old enough.

I think they are just searching for a nipple as well. Thanks for calming me down. I was starting to get worried.

She's getting the hang of things in terms of the sitting. I am always finding her kind of curled around all the kittens.

The only thing i'm starting to get worried about now is the amount of milk they are all getting. The black one and one grey are fine. The other two grey, not so much. One is looking noticeably fatter than the other. My scales went flat so I will need to go to the shops and buy one so I can weigh them all.

Other than that. I think she has settled. The black and the grey one are asleep and the two grey are drinking, so I hope that with the black and grey being asleep, they can get some much needed milk.

I reckon the Mother is doing good for her first litter at such a young age, ya know? She's cleaning them, making sure they are getting milk. I think we have two girls and two boys.

Will keep posting here with the progress.

Thanks!

Yes, do get a scale. And while you're at it, pick up some kitten milk replacer (KMR) and a 1 or 2 mL syringe, in case you need to supplement any of the kittens. Or full fat goat's milk is good as well. In fact, the goat's milk and KMR is good for the mom to drink as well. She needs the calcium.

Overall, it does sound like she's doing a very nice job.
