im not sure if this is an issue--my cat was sleeping on the printer on my desk and they BOTH fell at the same time. The printer seems pretty heavy--10lbs and it does seem heavy and then its force falling on her is an issue. It was a small enclosed space they both fell into. Immediately i screamed, and she ran off to the bedroom freaking out...im not sure why she was 'hiding'...i dont know if she thought i was mad, which i never am towards her, or she's in pain but it seems she knew i wanted ot take her to the vet...i kept trying to observe her so i chased her while she found many hiding spots...

She isnt acting normal- i called my vet to talk abt the situation--she wasnt there but another one was and the secretary didnt help much. I figured i'd take her in but observe her first. When I put her in the carrier she was screaming worse than ever, and really acting crazy. I let her out b/c she 'seemed' to be doing better, but now she just runs and hides in an area--i can't tell if shes scared of being taken to the vet or what. Her breathing is a bit rapid. I can sense she is injured a bit on her body---im scared abt internal bleeding or organ bleeding...

initially i didnt want to take her to THIS vet b/c he can be rough, my normal vet isn't...im wondering if anyone has experience with objects like this falling with or on a cat--it was just pretty dang heavy though its 10lbs i noticed somewhere...i wanted to take her to the vet but he's leaving in 15 minutes so im waiting and watching her. At one point, when people rang the doorbell, she SCREAMED under the chair--when i was talking ot them---that indicated something scary?? i can't tell its just hard to tell..cats hide a lot...its just scary...i dont know what to do...i had no issue paying money taking her...wheni tried putting her back in the carrier..she screamed bloody murder again ..and it scared me--i thought ok i'll let her stay for now...

has anyone has experiences with objects falling on a cat or halfway near it...or how resilient cats are? people try to say theyre so resilient but who knows...im pretty sure she HAS to be injured in some way but maybe not seriously..

She may not be hurt, but traumatized from the incident.  I would watch her tonight and see how she does. Let her calm down.  Don't force her out of hiding, but if  possible, sit on the floor and see if she'll come to you for treats.  Gently pick her up and examine her, feeling to see if there are any tender spots.  Be sure she eats and potties.
