its surely the temp has dropped now as it usually does hours/ a day before delivery..  Its no sure labor sign though, but yes, it should be near now.

Sorry, I dont have my links on this work computer.

Keep us posted!

Good luck!

Hold on biscuit someone with knowledge is this area will be with you soon. I don't have much experience in this area but a vet visit sounds like it may be in order. A member with some experience will chime in soon....

My guess, is she has dropped now, they are in the birthing canal, and thus, less movable in there...

So its nearing with each step now.

Of course, she may be sick for real although high preg, so you must be observant - whom shall worry if not you, her caretaker and de facto, her mom?

But I do hope its OK, just proceeding along the route.

How many pouchers of food should my mummy cat be having a day??
essentially as many as she manages to eat.   The problem arises firstly  if she doenst has good appetite.

It depends in part too, how many babies there are, how old they are, and her condition from beginning...

Please describe more of the situation.   :)

It sounds alike she gets enough.  But the demands will be even greater later on, when they are becoming biggish, but arent eating themselves yet.

Was she in good condition before she got kittens, or was she emaciated alike many rescued cats are?

You can also use goat milk, or full fat unflavored youghurt, or a little cheese as extra.  But NOT cow milk, unless you are absolutely certain since earlier she manages it. Some cats do.

Perhaps some nice vitamine pasta alike Nutri cal - there are several different brands, most should be OK

Raw egg yolk is useful, if you dont have problems with salomonella in eggs.  You can mix this yolk with something else.

But raw egg white isnt good.  Boiled egg white is good, lotsa of proteins.

You can crush the eggshell of a boilded egg into fine powder, and use it as an extra calcium source, and sprinkle a little on her food, just a few corns.

Royal canine baby cat dry food is good for both moms and kittens.   (their best product among their dry foods, probably).

Minced meat of cows, NOT pigs, is good.

If you need more fat, so some melted butter should work.

Or some coldpressed olive oil or rapeseed oil - these are also good E-vitamine source.

But not too much, just a few drops at a time - as oil is also loosening the stools, and may be used to regulate a constipation.
