My 5 week old rescued, orphaned kitten loves Royal Canin kitten starter canned food.  She'll eat it warm, cold, or room temperature.  I try to add a little hot water to the cold food right out of the fridge in order to warm it up and to get a little water into her, but she's so eager to eat it that she starts chowing down as soon as it hits the plate.  Will the cold food hurt her?  She hasn't vomited it up yet, and acts like a very healthy kitten.

Hi!

Cold food won't hurt her so long as she likes it and doesn't puke it up!

Nothing wrong with cold food as long as it's been covered in the fridge.  Of course, my kitties are spoiled and like it warmed up.
Be sure you're also allowing her to free feed on dry food throughout the day.

Hi Donna.

That is an excellent food IMO.All my Fosters(5) I  use for my feral kittens feed that to the babes. And in no time become chubby little cuties.I also agree with cold won't hurt a thing obviously as your little one is telling you.Good job!!
