Usually bad breath indicates problems with their teeth...like tartar build up.  May be time for a dental.

Oh, yes....absolutely.  When teething, it's normal for them to have bad breath.

I had one of my cats teeth cleaned at age 7 he got gingivitis...

then I found a product that has seaweed in it and have been giving him

some each day on wet food..

his breath is great and I do believe it keeps the tartar situation under control.

the product is...I suppose okay to say..I am not a seller and have no interest in the company

the product name is ProDen Plaque off

it is for bad breath, tartar and plaque for cats or dogs...

I do know some vet offices sell similiar products and I asked the vet and he said he did not see any reason

it would harm a pet ..now I did read if they have thyroid issues, to not use it?

You can ask your vet ..

I used this on Peebo who just was mauled and had to put him to sleep last week..

I use it on my remaining last child...Bro my 8 year old tabby male cat..

One half scoop a day...on wet food...

I ordered mine off the internet...I always order in cool months not hot weather for transit of any products...

ProDen Plaque off is the name of the product..

I  will google and see where mine was...it   entirely pets.com

just put that in and there are three sizes..

I got the small one first then the middle size as I had 3 cats

Now I have only one cat...

I will have the vet check Bro's /cats teeth in Jan when he gets his annual shot

and I will know for sure how the plaque is on the teeth he had plaque

but after using this the vet was able to just pop it off his teeth..while

I watched him..so if someone started when the cat or dog was young

I sure believe it would prevent tartar

just ask the vet if your cat has a thyroid problem and take the product to him to read

the label..or print it off and go by the vet and ask them to let you ask him in person

perhaps he would be kind enough to tell you without charging you for opinion...on the thyroid..

Several vets were interested when I told them they may start selling it but it will be higher priced

if they do at their offices...
