First off she needs to be kept warm  She will not be able to regulate her body temp until she is around 3 weeks.  You can use a flea comb dipped in a water and blue dawn solution.  Comb the kitten and dip the comb in the water and repeat.  The water/dawn combo will kill the fleas.

Thank you. Great advice. I will just dip the comb in Dawn dish soap. I've been reading advise and finding it very helpful. Thank you!

You need to feed this baby around the clock every 3-4 hours with kitten formula.

Keep an eye out for more.  The dawn solution is not long term.  You may need to do it again.

I'm happy to report still no fleas for Bottle Baby! However, he has a huge appetite! I'm currently feeding every 4 to 6 hours 1/2 a warm bottle. Bottle size is standard 1/4 oz with 1 tbl spoon of powered KMR formula. So 1/2 bottle morning, the other half 4 -6 hours later, then I make another full warm bottle and start over...is he drinking enough? He's 3 weeks old, pees n poos like a champ

How much does the kitten weigh? That's the only way to really know if he's getting enough and growing sufficiently.

Does he cry between feedings?

You can try mushy wet food in another week.

I'm going to buy a scale tonight to keep track, but as of now i do not know how much he weighs. Sorry. He's very bottle agressive, but super content once he "lanches" on. He can down a bottle very fast. Should i just let him finsh his bottle or slow him down? Just seems like he can't get enough. Maybe more KMR formula? I'll try some healthy wet food in a couple of weeks. Yes he'll cry, but once i pick him up and cuddle him he stops and purs

Yes, you should let him finish the bottle. In fact, you should let him have as much as he wants. It's almost impossible to overfeed a growing kitten. Half of a bottle every 4-6 hours does not sound like enough to me.

Okay. Thank you. I will let him drink up. He loves his warm yummy bottle. Did you read my bottle mesurements? Is that enough formula for the bottle? Is it common for kitties to "fight" for nipple postion? He growls and straches at the bottle befroe he laches on...

I was confused over your bottle measurement. Could you please explain it again? The kitten bottles I use hold 2 ounces of formula or 55 mL.

What is your bottle's measurement when full?

The bottle holds 2 oz of liquid. I add 1 tablespoon of powered KMR then warm water and mix. Thats a full bottle.

Ok, same as mine, so he was drinking one ounce at each feeding. I don't know how much he weighs, but he can have the whole bottle. Kittens usually stop when they are full.

The fact he is so frantic for his bottle tells me that he probably needs to eat more frequently as well, like every 4 hours not 6.

You can also mix Gerber plain rice cereal into his milk to thicken it and fill him up more. Just be sure it will fit through the hole in the nipple.

As a kitten grows, which should be daily, the amount they drink needs to increase.

Sounds like you've been doing a good job though overall. Can we see a picture?

He's as cute as a button!

I'll be curious to know his weight when you get your scale. The goal is one pound at four weeks. Let's see if he's getting there :).
