My vet prescribed this for me to use on my cat with elevated liver enzymes. He said if it causes my cat's condition to get worse stop using it. My cat is very elderly and has lost weight over the years. He is still thin but thankfully he is eating, drinking, urinating and defecating (although not as much as he used to). How do I know if this liver support is working?
When I first gave it to my cat he drooled and started foaming at the mouth. I believe it was the taste that caused it. He doesn't do that anymore, he just fights me when I try to give it to him.
