I am dropping my cat off at the vet first thing this morning when they open. I guess I'm looking for peace of mind.

She has had diarrhea for a few days. She just started throwing up either during her meals or right after. Only at night during her dinner, not in the morning when she eats her breakfast.

She's acting perfectly normal, happy, energetic. She's not painful at all. She's trying to get away from me right now to go play, but purring away because I'm making her snuggle with me.

I'm so scared they are going to tell me she has a blockage.

She's drinking a lot of water, which I took away this morning.

I know it's almost impossible, but try not to worry until you find out for sure. You are doing the best thing by taking her to a vet, an X-ray is relatively cheap. Cats don't act 'normal' at all when something is seriously wrong, so I'll pray it's just parasites or something minor that can be fixed quickly. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers, keep us posted!

They said everything looked fine. They were unable to get a fecal, so I brought a sample tube home. They gave me 1 ml of Diagel to administer half tonight, and if she still has diarrhea, half tomorrow. I am feeding her a little bit of food, a little at a time to see how she does. The doctor didn't know she had thrown up her food last night, the receptionist didn't put it in the computer! >( But she still looked really good they said. Just going to check her for parasites.
