An Aussie Hello :)

Hi everyone!

After years of stalking I've decided it is time to finally join up and show my face. I look forward to getting to know you all.

I'm a (slightly neurotic) Mum of 2 kitties, a 20 month old red and white Maine Coon who is full of allergies (and my worst nightmare because foods without fish, chicken, soy and grain don't exist at all in Australia, but I love him to bits anyway). The allergies we're trying desperately to figure out and  I am also owned by a 24 week old female DSH kitten (Jasper and Tilly) who is a delight in every way and full of tortitude (despite being a dilute).

So hello and I'm happy to finally be a part of this community

Okay so this is my Maine Coon boy Jasper who is 2 in February. He is the one with multiple allergies we can't seem to get on top of and is a rather aloof young man:
 


And this is his little "sister" Tilly who is approximately 24 weeks (shelter kitty so it's a close estimate). We did have a Maine Coon brother for him who was 10 months younger than him and would have been 1 this September but he sadly passed away suddenly and completely unexpectedly at just 8 1/2 months earlier this year. It was devastating for us and we still miss his little fluffy face every day. Tilly is helping us to heal.

 They are adorable, great pics and thank you for sharing. :-)

PS I am sorry about the other baby, it's heartbreaking indeed losing  our baby.

I am so sorry for the loss of your other boy.  Our cats leave pawprints on our hears.

Welcome! I adopted a mixed tortie, and she can be full of tortitude too at times! Her sister is a tuxedo cat. I guess my tortie must be part tortoiseshell and part tuxedo. My tortie's chest and paws are white. I just love her unusual look! I am also sorry for the loss of their brother cat.
