I have a 2 1/2 year old Calico cat who is pregnant with her second litter.  She had her last litter in March.  We took her in and didn't know she was pregnant.  Her last pregnancy was fine.  Her milk bags developed fine and she had 4 beautiful babies.  This time she is about to burst and miserable.  She is going to have more than 4 babies this time.  What concerns me is that at the point she it at now, she should have milk bags by now.  I don't know how long she has been pregnant, at least a month and a half but I know longer because of how big she is.  Is there anything I can do to help her milk bags?

My cat Molly (had kittens five days ago ) didn't develop milk bags till after she had the babies ....and all four of her kittens are gaining nicely so should be no problem

Every pregnancy is different. Your cat's milk will come in when she delivers if not just before. You do need to see that she gets spayed after this litter.

Yes I know she needs to be spayed.  She will be.  I just figured her bags would have come in by now.  Her last litter they came in about 2 or 3 days before. but she wasn't this big either.  That's what make me think she is going to have more than 4 babies this time.

I have a queen who had 2 babies last night within 5 min of each other.  The first one came out breach and needed a little help but once that one came out the next one came out.  Thing is she is still pregnant.  She has at least 2 or 3 more inside.  I can feel and see them move.  I always thought they all came out at once but saw another thread that said they could be up to 2 weeks apart.  Is this true?  She is acting normal, eating and drinking fine.  The babies are healthy also.  Feeding like normal.  Her last litter came out within 6hrs.  I've never seen or heard of anything other.

If she mated with 2 different males days apart, the litters will be born days apart.  It's pretty amazing.

Thank you very much.  I thought that was what I read on the other post but wasn't sure.  Just wanted to make sure.  So she is fine.  My husband was getting a little worried and couldn't believe what I told him but I watched her for 6hrs after the two last night and told him she must have mated with more then one male and days apart.

Darling!  I love how one is Black and white and the other is orange and white, while the mom is a combo of all three.

Yep, she'll have them when they are ready to be born.

The babies are precious! The orange kitten looks rather plump already :).

Yes the orange one is plump.  He was the first one out and it didn't help that he was breach.  Feet first she couldn't push him out.  I had to help her pull him out a little.  Took her a good 45min to an hr to deliver him.  No sooner she got his face cleaned off the next one came out.

Aww. Sorry for the stillborn kitten. Did it appear fully developed?

She'll have the last one eventually. I hope it's healthy :).

No I cannot see the baby moving and no contractions, but one person said they could be weeks apart and I think that's what it is. The other babies are doing very well and getting a lot of attention. Yes the stillborn was fully developed. I think what happened was with the first baby that was breach and took so long to come out his bag must have broke somehow. We are great fun for the babies we have and making sure they are happy, comfy, and healthy.
