In a period of 6 months, I have had tremendous tradegy strike me.MyI Dear Mother passed away,and 2 kittys, one suddenly  from polycystic kidney failure at the age of 8,and the other right after, from chronic kidney disease, she was 17. I feel like I was being "CURSED" . I know how you feel, I lost my beloved Chrissy, then 6 cats and kittens this summer to distemper, then my dad suffered a stroke and died several months later, and now I have just lost my job through budget cuts a year before retirement., it truly is testing my spirit. Thank you so much for the site, I will definitely check it out, I need all the help and encouragement I can get right now. Thank you so much! May God bless us all.

As for me...yes...TCS, helped me a lot too and I appreciate everyone for being so compassionate, nice, loving and very kind. It's very hard to keep inside how I felt after losing my two girls. For others losing a cat seems nothing to them and some would laugh and would say just a cat. I tried my very best to reply each post here because I know that feelings losing a cat. This site treated me with kindness and forever thankful to the owner and everyone. God bless you all...

Stay strong, things have to get better, and they will!

G gladys I am so truly sorry for all your losses. I know how devastating it can be to lose a much loved family member, whether it is a human or a pet.
They are loved and to lose them is heartbreaking.
I lost my mom about 4 years ago and the pain over losing her was unbearable. She was truly my best friend. I still cry over her loss. It was my precious kitty, Mickey, who got me through it all. He truly helped me to survive. I knew he loved and needed me. He would look up at me as if to say,"I am here and I need you. I will always need you and I love you". He was my special kitty!
Sadly, a little over a year ago I lost my precious Mickey. He was diagnosed with colon cancer and didn't live long after diagnosis. I still feel that I let him down. I couldn't save him from his dreaded illness. I also still cry over his loss. He was the one that helped me cope after losing my mom. Who would help me cope now?? Where was my kitty Mickey?
The do understand the pain you are feeling. I wish I could help more than with just words. I wish I had a magic wand to make all your pain disappear.
I do hope that you can one day remember both your mom and your kitties with smiles instead of tears. I truly feel your pain!

Thanx so much for your heart felt reply. Luckily my faith and trust in the Lord has given me peace. I know that they are all together and also with my Dad who crossed 10 years ago, I am truly sorry about your kitty Mickey, and i know how you feel. My big baby boy Zakk was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease and was already in the end stage when I took him home, after a week stay at the vets. I knew I wanted to die with him. Then my 17 year old decided she wanted to cross too. But I know that God's doesn't let any of his children down ,and that includes his innocent creatures that are purely innocent.  He will take care of them until we meet again.  It is  his  promise to us.cause we never really die. Mickey would want you to go on your life because they are soooooooo happy now,they want you to be happy too. Maybe in time You can adopt or as I say another kitty will adopt You . Thanx for your heart felt reply. I do  a lot of praying and it has helped a lot. I know  that nothing lasts forever on this earth including us, but I know that our Lord helps us through these loses.   God is good and there are reasons why things happen, we just don't know yet, The best thing to do is to trust in the Lord and know that they are waiting for us and we will be reunited with them in no time !!!Life is short .
