Hi!
I have just registered on this forum and figured I'd take the time to introduce my feline sweetheart.
His name is Oliver and he will be 8 months in about a week. I adopted him from the Ottawa Humane Society where he had been for a few months. He was deemed specialneeds and difficult to foster because he is deaf. As I walked by the window he was sitting on a chair he stretched out and reached his paw to touch the window and meowed at me with his big blue eyes fkxated on me. I turned around and askes to meet him. It was a match. Oliver came home with me 30 minutes later. His life of luxury had begun!
Over the next couple weeks I noticed he would have a random day where be would throw up. Tonight I spotted some blood in his bile and I immediately took him to the vet office. He was given a thorough check up and it was decided to switch his food as all other tests came up clear.
Tomorrow he will start his new diet and we are all hoping it will make him feel so much better. He is a sweetheart and a playful joy.
