Here is the link to a gofundme account for Buffy and Scrappy.  We went to the ophthalmologist yesterday and she said they needed to have a reconstructive/corrective surgery which we scheduled for next week.  They will need this surgery to save their eyes.  I have  to do what is best for these precious babies.  Thank you.

I have attached a link to my gofundme page for the kittens eye surgery coming up.  The ophthalmologist is going to do a reconstructive/corrective surgery next week.  I really pray this makes the kittens eyes appear normal and saves their eyesight.  The vet thinks Buffy is nearly blind from the ulcers.  Please help if you can, and please pray for my babies.

Poor Buffy. I hope the surgery does come in time. If Buffy's eyes are both so badly and infected, would it be a option to have both her eyes removed or can they be saved? Was the ulcers caused from the surgery or has it always been such an issue since their eyes were always that way.

The infection in both Buffy and Scrappy's eyes is healed.  The ulcers are caused from the constant hair and eyelashes rubbing on the eye because of the lack of the eyelid rim.  The first surgery was suppose to build new eyelid rim, that surgery was not successful.  The ophthalmologist will perform surgery to reconstruct and correct that first surgery.  Buffy ha good chance of those ulcers healing in time.  She will have "bad" eyesight, but not be blind.   On that note, my husband and I have watched her closely this weekend and we are not convinced that her eyesight is that bad.   She can play with a small bottle cap on the floor and can see a string pulled on the floor and pounce on it.  She appears to see well enough to chase her siblings, so we can not believe that her eyesight is as bad as they think.  We are certainly going to try every option available to g her the best chance possible.  Scrappy will have surgery to correct the first surgery and hopefully he will be able to have a more round eye appearance than what he has now. (he looks like he is always squinting.)

I can not blame the first vet who performed the first surgery, as she had never performed that particular surgery before.  it is unfortunate that Buffy and Scrappy were guinie pigs.  Hopefully this next surge with the  ophthalmologist will be more successful.

Thank you to everyone who was able to help the funding, and everyone please pray for my kitties.
