I watch Once Upon a Time too.   And Big Bang Theory.  And that's really about it.  I don't watch much tv, obviously.
  (don't have cable either)

I must check out the DVDs for rental at the library.  Maybe I can watch some series that way.
have you watched Once Upon a Time since the beginning of the series?

I'm looking forward to seeing:  Wicked City which starts next Tuesday.  I attempted to watch Blood and Oil and Quantico, didn't like either one of them and I heard Blood and Oil will be cancelled.

My fav's right now and I continue to watch, Scandal, How to get away with Murder, Blacklist, Hawaii 5-0, Shark Tank, Criminal Minds, Gotham, Faceoff, Pit Bulls and Parolees, Big Bang Theory, I just love Sheldon, House Hunters and others I can't remember right now. I don't like any of the new comedies either.

I usually will give a new show a shot, watching it a couple of times and if I don't like it by the second show, I cross it off my list.
ahhhh, i hadn't heard when Wicked City would start! thank you for mentioning that!

i had no interest in Blood and Oil at all, never watched it, and i'm not surprised that it'll be cancelled.

i like the new Hawaii 5-O. my mom was telling me that it wasn't as good as the original series, and i replied that i didn't think it could be as good/better than the original series and that it's a much better show than a lot of junk that's on tv these days.

i just started watching Pit Bulls and Parolees -- i really like this show!

Oh wow...I continue to enjoy the NCIS franchises.  Quantico grabbed my attention.  I'll watch that one.  Bones, Criminal Minds and Rosewood are on the list.  I'll watch anything about actual paranormal investigations, but not creepy, "ghosts are eeeeeevil" horsehockey.  Watch a lot of stuff in the upper cable channels, History, H2, American Hero Channel, stuff like that.  Hey..,I'm retired, I have no car, and the neighborhood isn't really conducive to walking.  I have a lot of time on my hands.  Hekitty is quite happy to play 3-4 times for 20-30 minute stretches, but that's her limit.
i really enjoy the NCIS various shows!

do you know -- is Criminal Minds putting out new episodes still?

Not the very beginning.  The first episode I ever watched was the fall cliff-hanger in the first season.  I've watched pretty regularly since then.

I have to say that I watch a fair amount of TV. i run in spurts. I do DVR a lot of shows and watch at various times during the week. That is the best part, I can just mom  through the commercials.

PBS: Home Fires, Indian Summer, Father Brown, Inspector George Gently

Network TV: Quantico, Limitless (so-so)

oldies: Big Bang Theory, NCIS LA, Blacklist, Grey's Anatomy (I know), Scandal, How to Get Away With Murder, Once Upon a Time, Major Crimes.

I think that is it.

I also love old movies, especially the classics on Turner Classic Networks. I have a fair amount of DVD's.

I find myself watching more and more PBS programs. They are really well written, are at least an hour in length. I love the full hour because there is more character and plot development.

I was watching  Downton Abbey for a few years, but then I lost interest in it.

I am not a football fan. There is so much of it on T this time of year. I watch these shows in place of the football.

Soon, with the bad weather approaching, I will start cuddling up on the coach and pull out my kindle for reading...
now, i hadn't heard about Father Brown on PBS. is this a series that's still running/making new episodes?

i was very pleased that Major Crimes turned out to be such a good series. i mean, considering that it was following after and continuing on from The Closer series -- big footsteps to follow after!

i'm looking forward to the winter setting in this year too, because i'll have more time to read and do quiet things indoors.

Father Brown is now in reruns on PBS. It is a great series. Yes, it is still ongoing, as far as I know. I have not googled it, but it is on every week. It takes place in England, small village, in the 1950's. It is quirky, but so lovable--great writing. Based on a series of very successful novels. It is great.

The Current episodes are reruns, but I think it is still in production. It just finished the first season on reruns and is now beginning the second season. I think in England, there are more current episodes.

I also Love the Muppets!!! I rea this current series is not doing good in the ratings...a shame.. It is good, clean, fun! Just what this world needs. Too bad...

I don't have a TV. I sometimes watch a documentary on YouTube if I have some sewing or  an other sit-down job to do. I feel guilty about just sitting there and watching TV, there are always so many things that need doing around here.

A friend just recommended Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell to me, so I'm going to check that out when I find the time.
i can understand the feeling guilty about sitting down and watching tv, when there's always things that are waiting to be done. for me, i find it important to give myself (or sometimes even to make myself take) some time to watch tv or read or play games on my computer. it's relaxing and something i enjoy doing.

i looked up Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell on the internet, and that looks like it would be a really good show!

I don't have cable either so I don't know anything about any of the new shows. I do watch stuff on Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming. I am rewatching Sex and the City from the beginning on Amazon Prime right now.
i stream too. you know, thedaretube dot com is a very good website to be able to stream many/most of the 'on air' tv shows. you can stream from there free, after setting up an account -- no fees or charges.

since i subscribe to hulu, many of the new tv shows become available there for me to see if i want. but i hop on over to the dare tube and also to youtube sometimes for shows that aren't as easy to find.

I'm kind of interested in watching Limitless, but keep forgetting that it's on. I've watched a few episodes of The Librarians and I like the overall concept, but (again), I forget that it's on and don't catch it. I did watch a few episodes of The Librarians on On Demand a couple times, but kept falling asleep.

I've been an avid Supernatural fan through the best and even muddled my way through the seasons that were downright crappy. Wednesday nights will find me glued to the CW at 9:00.

Used to watch The Vampire Diaries, but I really don't give two cents about Mom and all her family members at this point. I barely watched it last week and won't watch it at all this week because of the Bones/Sleepy Hollow crossover. If they're going to create a series about Mom and her family, then let's do it sooner rather than later and put me out of my misery. I didn't care for the "originals" when they started on TVD either and haven't watched an episode of the Originals at all. Insipid at best with all of his temper tantrums.

I'm still watching Sleepy Hollow this season, although I'm having trouble getting interested in Pandora (I'm not a big Shannon Sossamon fan to begin with and that doesn't help). I used to watch Bones til they killed off Sweets and then I gave up. I'll watch it this Thursday night (because of the above mentioned crossover with Sleepy Hollow), although I never hold out much hope for crossovers in general.

Really looking forward to the X-Files in January! I've been an X-Files fan since the very beginning (except for at the very end) and can't wait to see Mulder and Scully back in action.

Does anybody watch Elementary? I've been thinking about playing catch-up with the seasons, then starting to watch Season 4 (starting in November), once I catch up. Is it worth it? I've watched an episode here and there and think I might like it.

I've been finding myself watching Mysteries at the Museum, at the Park, at the Monuments, etc. on Friday nights. They're quite interesting shows overall.

And, of course, The Big Bang Theory, although it's starting to wear a bit thin. But I still find myself giggling my way through it sometimes.

Part of the problem is that I go to bed with a bed and the furkids, turn the tv on....and fall asleep. It's annoying when I awaken just as the ending credits of a show are scrolling. The other night I tried to watch Big Bang and I had to turn that episode on three times because I kept falling asleep during the show.

Most of the time, I have a channel on, but it's for background, more than anything, especially when Rick isn't home. There are nights (other than Wednesdays) when I don't bother to turn the tv on at all.
okay, i hadn't heard about the Bones/Sleepy Hollow crossover. how is that going to work?

yes!!! i love Elementary! i started at season 1 and am now working my way through the episodes. i kind of watch tv shows in 'spurts', where i'll watch one show all afternoon/evening but then not watch it again for (sometimes) weeks or longer. i loved the sherlock holmes movies and books, so Elementary is a show i really enjoy. you know, PBS is supposed to do a Sherlock (Holmes) special 'The Abominable Bride' (on Masterpiece) on january 1st, 2016. i've been waiting for that, but it'll be available for streaming from PBS probably the next day for me.

ahhh.....  i'm an occasional viewer of Once Upon a Time, and that's probably why i've had a hard time following the story -- because there are gaps where i've missed episodes.

i just did a little research online, and it looks like Father Brown has 3 seasons so far. it also *looks like* there are new episodes being made -- they were supposed to have started filming season 4 in june of this year.

Vet School is OK. I really enjoy watching Dr. Pol. I don't care about watching any of the other new shows.

I also enjoy:

Mike & Molly

The Middle

Modern Family

I just started watching Mad Men last year and fell in love with the show. I was so mad when they stopped showing it.

Hmm, since I live in Greece, I don't have much of a choice.. I do have digital satellite pay TV, with which I can watch international programmes and they include movie premieres, documentaries, shows and tv series..

So, on that I can watch many continued series: Grey's Anatomy, Bones, Modern Family, How to Get Away with Murder, Homeland, True Detective. I also watch Bondai Vet (Hot!).

My mother really likes to watch "I Am Cait", since it's the 1st time any type of TV programme has a reference on transgender individuals - which I think is useful (although it kinda feels like a "sister-show" to "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", sometimes..)

None of the channels shows the Brooklyn Nine Nine (so, I have to download it) which cracks me up!

The only new series I've taken on is "Grandfathered" and I recommend it

I can't wait to X-Files' premiere

I was hoping for a next season to Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, though

At the beginning of 2015 I watched American Crime, which was amazing.

We have dish network. I watch TV so seldom, I forget how to use the remote to find anything. At Christmas I might watch some of the Hallmark movies. I do enjoy unsolved mysteries, but there are no shows at all that I follow or care enough about to follow and watch them regularly. We have two wide screen TV's. If I lived here alone, I probably would sell them and get rid of dish network.

Thanks for the push for Elementary! I'm going to start watching Season 1 and work my way through.

You'll have to google the SH/Bones crossover. I think it starts this coming Thursday night on Bones at 8, then continues with Sleepy Hollow at 9. We were trying to figure out how it was going to work because Tempe is such a scientific/mathematical/logical/rational person, that sci-fi is not something she's going to want to handle. And can you see Ichabod with Tempe? Oy As as rule, I'm not really fond of crossovers because they usually just don't work.

On the other hand:  http://www.tvguide.com/news/mega-buzz-bones-sleepy-hollow-crossover/

Starts this coming Thursday at 8:00 on Bones according to TV Guide.
