Please help ASAP!!! I  really need someone with some knowledge of illness in Sphynx cats. My boy has been throwing up lately somewhat infrequently it was just food

that hadn't digested so I figured he was eating too fast and too much at one time... Now he is vomiting solid food, digested food, and foam with yellow tint. He has always

had a problem with diarrhea on and off which is pretty common in Sphynx they are known for having sensitive stomachs and I had him tested several times when he

was about 6mos to 1 year and the vets concluded the same thing just a sensitive stomach. but is now only passing liquid, and he has a rash which is one thing about

checking symptoms online because most people wouldn't see the rash on their cat so if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

PS. I started to think he had swallowed a piece of yarn or twist ties, until the rash showed up. I am thinking he may have a fever I have to find my thermometer.

There is no way we can diagnose your little one via the internet, but I know Sphynx's are not as hardy as furry cats, so if you have any inkling that's he's sick, I would suggest getting him in to be seen.

When you say he is vomiting food, is it soon after he eats, or hours after, or what.  If several hours after he eats, that could be a sign of a blockage.  BUT, vomiting, diarrhea AND a rash also could mean food allergies
.  See, tht's the problem with trying to figure out what's wrong via the internet...it COULD be lots of things, some much more serious than others.

i would take him to an emergency vet ASAP! if he did swallow something, it could cause a bowel obstruction and that would require surgery..

Thanks for your input guys. I am pretty sure its a virus and the rash has already went away.
