Hello i have a month old angel, his name is marley :) Any advice on what to feed him? I feed him whiskas wet food for kitten the tuna and chicken&tuna with small amount of rice. But his favourite is the royal canin wet food. And sometimes i feed him princess cat food poured with cosi milk and he likes it. Any more suggestions to make my kitten healthy? Thank you :) Oh and home made shampoos to make his skin shiny and fluffy. He is a mix persian :)

Feeding him kitten food is definitely a good start.  You want to look for grain free food and foods that have meat as the first listed ingredient, not corn or byproduct.  Wet food is helpful as it provides hydration as well.

What's in the shampoo that you use?  Most cats don't need frequent baths.

Did you see the parents?  Wondering who was persian.

He's cute!!

No i havent seen his parents but the owner said his dad is 100% pure persian and the mom is 50%-75% persian breed :) Yehey! I was doing great feeding him, thank you for making me a great mom to him :) I need shampoo for her fur to be shiny because his fur is dry and could get dusty quickly. Thank you so much! :)

Frequent shampooing could lead do dry skin and more dandruff.  What are you using to wash him?

Also, not criticizing, but one month is very young to be separated from his mama.  You might need to do a bit more in terms of teaching him kitten manners.   It doesn't sound like you got him from a registered breeder, and he doesn't look like a persian to me.  He's adorable, though.

You definitely don't want to use that frequently.  Those are harsh chemicals and your cat can overdose from exposure.  He's also probably too young for that.

Do you have reason to suspect that he has ticks or fleas?  Does he go outside?

Oh i see. How about the ones with different scents? Like moisturizing shampoo for cats? He has dandruff i saw it :( thats why i used the anti tick and flea and its quite effetive i must say i observed that he isnt frequently scratching like he used to. He is a house cat though. Maybe he got it from his siblings.

You should try combing him all over with a fine comb to see if he has fleas or ticks.  If he does, you can treat them with the help of a vet.  A vet will need to advise since he's so small.  You can also comb him every day and put the fleas into water with blue Dawn soap.  You'll also need to vacuum your house/change all of his bedding every day if he has fleas.

I would stop washing him altogether if you do not see evidence of bugs.  I think you are probably irritating his sensitive skin by overwashing and I would give him time to regulate unless he's really dirty.  You can wipe him down with a warm, damp towel if you see a lot of dander accumulating.  That gets rid of anything on the surface.

Make sense?

I didn't saw this im sorry. Yep he's still a bit young to be taken away from his mother, he can barely eat because his siblings are too hungry every single day, so our friend decided to give it to us because he is malnourished. And i am doing everything i can to provide him everything he needs from his mother. Its quite frustrating because he is too young but it gives me joy to see him happy and healthy unlike the first day i saw him. If he doesnt look like a persian, then what does he look for you?

You should probably give him some KMR (Kitten milk replacer).  Powder form is better than the premade.  Pet Ag, Royal Canin and GNc are pretty good, stay away from Hartz and Seargents.  You can bottle feed or put some in a dish for him.

He looks like a domestic kitty to me, possibly longhair.  I agree about giving him KMR.  You can add it to his wet food to make a mush too.

Does he use the litter box by himself?

Yes he use the littee box by himself :) how about these pictures? Does he really look like a domestic?

@Handsome Kitty i haven't seen any powder milk here for cats only pre made like the cosi lactol which is the common one, but i would try to look on the internet to find some. I also found a canned milk being sold by the vet near my house.

The milk the vet is selling should be okay.  If it is premade you may want to dilute it with water.  Full Fat Goats milk is good too.

I think Royal Canin is better.  they have a Baby Cats dry variety that has smaller pieces that are easier for the kittens to eat.
