These cats are adorable. I never saw black ones, but mine are like these--a cocoa brown.

I'm not a fan of the taste of Peeps, or at least, what I remember from childhood, but they are fun to garnish food with.  The cat ones are cocoa-flavored.  I'm enjoying a steaming mug of (low-sugar) Swiss Miss. I added a teaspoon of Ghiardelli unsweetened cocoa powder to make it palatable.  I then squirted a huge cloud of whipped cream on top, enough to fill the large mug to the brim. Sprinkle a tiny bit of cinnamon on the whipped cream, then stand up a kitty peep in the middle! Be aware that the Peep has about 3 seconds before it starts to tip backward a little bit. He'll eventually lie flat in the melted whipped cream, but it does look so cute at first.

I used the ghosts to garnish a black and orange milkshake (vanilla bean ice cream, with about 2/3 c. of orange juice). I used black and orange striped (like a barber shop pole) paper straws form Dollar Tree. You may have to very slightly wet the straw in order to smoothly slide the Peep onto the straw. You want the Peep to be about 2" down from the drinking end of the straw. Then, lean the straw into the glass so that the Peep shows above the drink. For the black and orange shake, squirt a thick cloud of whipped cream on top, then sprinkle the whipped cream with orange and black Halloween candy sprinkle/jimmies/whatever they call those things in the baking aisle.
