Hello -

I love my kittens, but life has stifled my ability to provide them with a comfortable and happy life. I am moving, changing salaries, having difficulties with my roommate and the landlord. It breaks my heart, but I need to find a loving forever home for my kittens that is more stable and nurturing. Where can one post kittens/cats for adoption in Los Angeles? I need help!

Thank you!

I suggest you explain your situation to your vet and ask if you can post something in their office. Maybe check with some other local vets as well; sometimes they have bulletin boards for such postings.

If at all possible, I would try to postpone giving them away until after Halloween - just as a safety precaution. Otherwise, there is an adoption facility in Los Angeles. You might want to contact them at:

Sorry, I couldn't find a phone number, but you could probably find it in a phone book nor call Information.

You can post free ads on eBay Classified, and I believe you can  also post them on Adopt-A-Pet.  There is one more place online called RescueMe (I think) but it works like Craig's list in that they are ordered by DATE of posting so if your cats are not a certain breed or color, they would be hard for people to find after the first few days.  You can also post ads at vet offices, with their permission.
