So I'll do it now!

Hi!

My name is Amber and I live on the beautiful Oregon coast with my little human/cat family. I have a toddler who absolutely loves "his" kitties.  And started with two kittens when I joined a month ago, but now have 3 since I just couldn't give up the last little guy from a litter I helped find homes for almost 3 weeks ago.

My kitties are as follows...

Taco. He is 13 weeks and 1 day old as of today! My little bi-color orange striped tabby/white guy. Big love bug. Only uses his claws when he is playing and purrs anytime anyone even looks at him. Such a sweetheart, but not much of a cuddler.

Bonsai. My tiny girl. She is 12 weeks and 5 days old as of today and she is my little bi-color brown/black marbled tabby/white girl. I call her my little girl because she is roughly a third to half the size of Taco even though they are almost the same age. She recently lost her kitten fluffiness and is now a velvety sleek terror. She loves to play! Always jumping around and racing everywhere, but when it's bedtime she cuddles right up and sleeps on my pillow with me.

And last but not least is the tiny rescue guy. Vlad. Named such because he acted like a little vampire and just wanted to hiss and bite when I first picked up his litter. After hiding for the first week or so he has spent the last week fighting with Bonsai over who sleeps on my neck at night. Since his last sibling left a few days ago he actually tries to play with the bigger kittens and rarely hides anymore. I have no clue what Vlad will look like as an adult because originally I just thought he was a fluffy little grey kitten with turquoise eyes. However getting him out and about he looks as though he has some black tabby stripes under his grey fur? And perhaps its just fever coat but his face/paws look more silver? Either way he's going to be gorgeous to me since he's my baby. Just like Taco little Vlad has decided he's going to purr anytime I get close to him. The vet estimated the litter to be about 5-6 weeks about 2 1/2 weeks ago so I'm guessing he has to be around 8 weeks by now for sure. He's going in this morning once the vet opens to get his first set of shots actually. Second set for Taco and Bonsai.

Anyways. Now to the part everyone actually wants to see! Time to spam some pics!

The day we got Taco! My little guy just wanted to hug him and hold him.

And now some Bonsai! Starting when I knew I had to have her at 3 weeks old!

How tiny she was! She is a little bigger now :p

I wish I had a better picture of her fur! She is turning out so pretty!

Bonsai and Taco together! My tiny little girl and my big goofy boy!

Time to meet Vlad! First night I got him home when he was still in his bitey phase.

When he started to enjoy snuggles and cuddling!

His normal spot now. Anyone know whats up with those stripes!?

His eyes don't seem to be staying that lovely blue they first were, sigh, but they seem to be turning a green!? I love green so that's awesome to me!

Vlad meeting Bonsai and Taco!

Look how tiny he is compared to Taco!!

Vlad and Taco are purring cuddle buddies now when I am snuggling them both!

Well. They all got their shots yesterday. Second set for the older two and first set for Vlad. He started having diarrhea later in the day then got lethargic and stopped eating/drinking. Then went limp and couldn't get up, He could only raise his head up. Also got incontinent. I held him and he purred up against me while I rushed to the vet. They said his heart rate was only 40 when we got there and he was having trouble breathing. Said his body was in shock. Said they didn't feel there was anything they could do to save him and gave him a euthanasia shot to help end his suffering. I stroked him and cuddled him till the end. Then bawled my eyes out in my car. Oh god I feel like just after the three weeks I had him that a piece of my heart is missing. At least I know for sure his last three weeks he was very loved and taken care of.
