Please help my kitten is spitting saliva

Hello everyone my kitten has recently started spitting saliva. She licks her mouth as if she has something in her mouth but she doesn't and she drools saliva when she does so. It is clear.

What could this be?? Please help

Please take your kitten to the vet for an exam. Only a vet can diagnose what is causing your kitten to spit up saliva. Drooling saliva and licking the lips can indicate nausea or dental problems. Worst case scenario poisoning can cause a cat to drool excessively. I hope that is not the case with your kitten.

I'm taking her to the vet for sure, but I wanted to know it it's an emergency or not. Doesn't seem to be, she's eating and playing like always.
She hasn't been poisoned, she's indoors all the time and I make sure to keep an eye on her and put chemicals away. Thanks for the information, I feel better now
