First I apologize if this subject has been brought up before, but I'm very curious about this. Well my boy, Koa, has been constantly biting our paper towels, my t-shirts while I'm asleep, and their travel blanket. There's holes here and there on their travel blanket, and he's already put a few holes in my t-shirts. Is there any reason for this type of behavior? Should I be concerned if something is wrong?

Your answers will be greatly appreciated.

There is a condition known as pica where cats eat strange objects usually wool, or carpet or socks. Some believe it is a vitamin deficency while others insist it is a chemical imbalance. If you do a search on this website looking for the word pica, you will find posts about it- just make sure you click on show older posts as well. You just want to be careful and give your cat fiber, either in hairball remedy or canned pumpkin or mashed cooked green beans, so the cat does not become blocked by the foreign objects it is chewing on.
