Today's question is about our kitties



What coat color/pattern do your cats have ?




Here's my gang below

Purdy - tortie & white ( Calico )
Theo - Blue & white classic tabby
Marley - brown & white classic tabby
Maddie - blue tabby
Cairo - solid red
Zeus, Zia, Fleur, Minxy - all brown classic tabbies

Zoe - all black

Rico and Ozzy - black and white tuxedos

Hannah - tortie

Casper: Domestic Short Hair (with a very plush coat!) White and Orange (Buff? Red? Cream? Not sure where to put it on that scale), bi-color tabby. He has faint tabby marks on his body; on his tail much more noticeable and he has a classic "M" on his forehead.

Cocoabean: Domestic Long Hair Tortie.  Excellent blaze mark on her nose

Shadow - blue (British Shorthair)

Asha - black

Pushkin - classic brown tabby

I do not know the correct definitions (nor do I really care), descriptions for cats, so bear with me.

BooBoo - male tuxedo with white belly, white paws and pink toes

Ms. Pepe - tortie with white belly, white paws and pink toes

Amber Louise - red tabby with the M on her forehead and pink toes

Mollipop - brown tabby with the M on her forehead and gorgeous black velvet paws and toes

Muffin - buff-colored tabby with the M on her forehead and a pretty white belly

Tabby - your classic black/grey tabby with the M on her forehead and white paws with pink toes

Chula is a dainty torbie and Paul is a big black beautiful boy with a white tummy.

i feel like i've missed something along the way -- who is Pushkin? and is s/he a recent addition to your family?

Miagi is a tabby. Angel is solid grey but has the most gorgeous dark grey coat right now since winter is coming. She's lighter in the summer.   Tiger was a marbled tabby.

Macha - domestic - white and black

my snick is a long-haired siamese mix, and is grey with white undercoat. she has dark grey/black lips and paw pads. snick has the classic 'M' on her forehead!

our jaspurr is a tuxie boy! he's short-haired. he's black pretty much over the top half of him as well as his tail, and white on the underside of him -- kind of like black paint got spilled over him!    only, jaspurr really doesn't have black hair at all, he's got dark chocolate brown colored hair.

I don't talk about her much, but Pushkin is the semi feral barn cat we care for. To me, she's part of the family even though she's not at home. She's a slightly grumpy old lady who's not in the best of health, but as treatment isn't possible we're going off of her quality of life.
Here she is
(she has abdominal tumors which account for her size, as well as loose skin from being badly overweight before we met her - nobody fed her regularly before we turned up, and she resorted to stealing horse feed instead )

awww, pushkin sure is a pretty lady! poor girl.........those abdominal tumors. i'm so glad she has you looking after her now! 

Mabel is a grey and white tabby.

Leroy is a red Abyssinian. Emma is a black and white tuxedo DMH.

Morgana is a Habsburg Tudor Bourbon Medici Romanov Saxe-Coburg Gotha Valois mix, her velvet fur in the colour of creamy crystal snowflakes falling in a beautiful winter day.



In other words, she is white 
 

(I am required by the Law of Morgana to list her "pedigree". What can I say, she is a queen)




And Camelot is white too!



 

Sparkle is a tortie, complete with attitude.

Tophel is "black smoke" which means he looks grey, but he's not really. Each hair starts out white next to his (white) skin, but every hair gets darker towards the end so overall, he looks like dark grey. If you google "black smoke main coon" you will see many of his relatives, lol.
