Ok first of all, I took out the personal information in the post as well as where you found it. This was done just to prevent any board wars that might start.

There are some people who believe that breeding dogs or cats, no matter what nets them good money. Sadly it is usually the third litter before they realize how much money they have actually lost. Hopefully in the place where this is posted, the members there will be able to set this person straight, or on another note, it could be a troll just trying to cause problems.

Too many no-no's there to count... the no papers are the least of her troubles IMHO. Tails docking - is that still legal in the US?

Yes, Anne, unfortunately tail docking and ear clipping is not only legal, but necessary to conform to many "breed standards" to show the dogs. We're not all that bright about animal issues over here...
I was reading in Best Friends Magazine that those who have even so much as suggested changing the official standards so that these cruel practices would eventually be phased out are basically blacklisted by the org. that sets the standards as well as the breeders themselves.

The hope is that eventually people like this will have an increasingly hard time selling their puppies and they will simply be driven "out of business".

I have one worse than that. Just before Christmas, a lady 'sold' 2 litters of Cocker Spaniel pups to people for $600 each to be picked up on Christmas Eve as gifts, mostly for children. There really were pups on the premises, but she 'sold' the same pups over and over again, then skipped town with the money!! When people went to get the pups she was gone and so were all the dogs!! She was later found in Tex. and arrested for stealing. I wonder what happened to the pups.

The latest I hear now is that the last few people she sold the pups to got to keep them, and all the others were just robbed and brokenhearted. I hope this is true because then at least the pups had loving homes. It's still a dirty trick though. She couldn't have any feelings for the dogs or people doing what she did.
