I have been so concerned about my Kitty the last few weeks, and I have gotten so much support from you all. It's really heart wariming how kind you are, even if you dont know the cat at all. I'd like to give a little presentation of Kitty, the cat you have cheered on in this thread:

http://www.thecatsite.com/t/307546/my-cat-is-ill-at-vets-are-at-a-loss-gallbladder

Kitty was found all alone in a barn when she was about 3-4 weeks old. Her mum was ran over by a car and was dead. The farmer that found her, got in touch with Animal Protection Servise, and thats how she came to live with me. At that point she looked like this

I never meant to keep her. She was just gonna stay here till she gre old enough, and strong enough, to get a forever-home. Thats why I didnt name her. We just called her "the kitty". 4 years later she is still called Kitty. Now with a capital K. Its her name. Twice I almost gave her up. Twice I changed my mind, cause it didnt feel right. When I changed my mind, that time she was going to a forever-home, because of an ongoing stomach infection, I knew she werent going anywhere. Ever.

Kitty soon turned out to be something special. She is clickertrained, and knows more tricks than my dogs. She rolls over, jumps hoops, twirls, pushes her basket of toys back in the corner after clearing up her toys, and so on. She is very clever, and easy and fun to work with.

However her real strong point, what makes her grab my heart more than any cat has ever done before, her core, her magic, its how she has a deep love and care for everyone in her family. Her family consists of 3 cats and 3 dogs and me. Every morning she give "nose-smooches" to each and every one of us. No pet nor human forgotten about.  If someone is in pain, is feeling down, or is in pain, she wont leave their side.

Here is Kitty comforting Carlisha during a thunderstorm.

Kitty comforted Pia, when Pia had to have surgery on her leg:

I could post so many pictures, but Im sure you can see where I'm comming from when I say she is a very caring and loving cat.

Kitty is an indoor-only cat, but enjoys car rides, just for fun, and to walk on a leash :)

Here she is with her sister Chloe:

She is such a positive and sweet cat. Loves her food (6,4 kg - ouch!), and loves to play. I love her with all my heart. She is my magical precious Kitty.

And a little Halloween picture, since its almost time!

What a wonderful story, thanks for sharing.

How did you ever get her to sit in a seat belt?! Please share your secret! She looks so content. And the sweater too, how cute! I once put a red bow around my, then young, Ragdoll for a Christmas card photo. It was only on for about 10 minutes but she looked at me like I had caused her to endure a fate worse than death. None of my cats have ever rode well in a carrier in the car. I never tried anything but that.

Kitty hates beeing in a carrier in the car. And the sounds she lets out if someone else is in the passenger seat... Horrible! Thats her seat, theres no way around it. She wants to look around when driving. After 15 min or so, she usually falls asleep though. I dont remember doing anything particcular to teach her. Allthoigh she has been used to wearing harnesses from a very young age. She also have a very positive outlook on new things. "Oh wow I never done this before, so Im sure Im great at it" - sort of attitude. She is also used to wearing little outfits for photoshoots since she was a baby. I have a blog, theres been a ton of pictures for all sort of holidays. She thinks wearing something means either 1. treats or 2. Going out for something fun 3. Attention and fun times indoors. So she always gets exited about that.

What a wonderful story.  That first picture was was sweet, it made my blood sugar soar! LOL!  I LOVE black kittens, and she certainly was a cutie. She grew into a sleek beauty (I love the pink argyle sweater!)
