I know the feeling, I get sick to my stomach thinking how scared they are. Just keep thinking, it has to be done to better her health and truly, the chances are that every thing will be fine.  I have to bring in a stray this Friday to be neutered, and he is so scared and skittish, it makes me sick to think he'll think I betrayed him. But I don't want the Toms to beat him up, so it's for the best.

Here I am worried sick about my little Sansy but you are doing a hero's work doing T'n'R. Bless you. I know that feeling of betrayal; I just hope they buzzed her up good on anesthesia like as soon as I left her there so she isn't worried.

I know, I hope they do what they have to do as soon as possible, but you know how it is. I guess we really don't want to know how they are waiting at the vets, we just have to give them lots of love and reassurance when they get back. As for my TNRing, I found out it's a lot cheaper to spay/neuter then to pay vet bills and FOOD bills for an ever growing population, so it's really cheaper in the long run. I just wish (and pray) that every town could do what North Platte NE's doing, and have a whole month of 30.00 spay and neuter, they have done literally hundreds. It's funded by Pawsitive Partners. It's too far fro me to go or I sure would. PS my Casper would LOVE your Sansy, he's the only white cat around, with a few yellow markings!

T n R was big back home in Newfoundland, there are some really great vets and non profits working for the cats now. Here inDartmouth there is one organization I can think of, she uses my current cat vet for her reduced price spays/neuters but I don't know about any significantly reduced costs for her group. It is so much cheaper to spay them now (or when you can) and then let the colony work it's thing out without growing! Such honorable work.

Sansa is so white she's hard to look at when she is sitting in the sun! I never thought I would ever share my life with a pure white cat (well, 90% white). I'll be sure to tell her all about Casper when she comes home. She doesn't like other cats but she hasn't met another white one so who knows!

(going to go through your profile pictures now to see pictures of Casper)
