I love Fall and the brightly colored foliage. We headed north last weekend for a long weekend away and the colors were fantastic.

Let's see some of your foliage pics!

Gorgeous pictures, Karen! Love that third picture.

When we were on our way home from Pittsburgh, Interstate 99 was beautiful with the changing colors. The colors and the windmills were so pretty. It was a bit breezy out through there, too, and the windmills were turning. Very pretty.

The fall colors have just started coming in here.  We had a very mild summer, both in terms of temps and rain.  I know that makes a difference with fall colors but I don't know the difference it makes.  Last year we also had a mild summer and beautiful colors so we will see if the same is true this year.

Things are just getting going here too.  We have some things that have changed and dropped some leaves; but a lot to go.  Our autumns are never like I remember as a kid in Upstate New York.  It would be breathtaking.  But here; things seem to turn and drop in stages.  You don't get the same burst of color.  When we've done fall family pictures we took them at the edge of a pond.  It does seem the trees at the edge turn first; so it worked that it looked all colorful.  We specifically planted a red maple and a fire maple for the colors.  They are still young; so they are already turning and dropping; but our mature maples are green.  One other tree is red in the yard.

You've set the bar pretty high!!

We don't have four distinct seasons here, so foliage pics aren't my strong point.....

@catlover19   it looks like there's some color coming out in the tree there. Maybe it'll get stronger later in the seasons? Or is the Ontario region too cold for that to happen and the trees just shed their leaves?

Some trees are really changing and others, not so much. It has been really windy lately so it's mostly just blowing the leaves right off the trees.
