tick head stuck in skin?

What should i do if i think a ticks head got stuck in one of my cats skin? There seemed to be actually 2 ticks that came off when I pulled at it. They were both on the smaller side, but one was a very light color and so fat and lumped-looking. The other was just normal small and dark color. I could still see this dark spot in her skin. Tweezers won't get it, and picking at it is only irritating the skin more. Ive put both hydrogen peroxide and frontline spray on it.

It could become itchy and bumpy if you let the head stay inside. Not a disaster but not desireable. When removing ticks, twisting while you pull as close to the skin as possible can help remove the head.

Take a cottonball and put a big clop of hand sanitizer on it.

Hold this over the tick spot for a good 10 minutes. (I know...)

It will suffocate and often expell the tick and what's left on to the cottonball.

Hmm, I do not have nor use hand sanitizer. I could pick up a small bottle, but if not, is anything else similar to that? Rubbing alcohol?

And it has become slightly hardened around where it is.
