Hi there everyone! I decided to join this site as a resource for all things cats. I recently moved out of my parents' house a few months ago and shortly after I got settled in, I adopted my 2 furbabies. They are Spock and Buffy (nerdy, I know).
This wide-eyed cutie is Spock. He's around a year old. He has the most adorable expressions and he always looks like he did something he shouldn't have.
This (technically) one-eyed beauty is Buffy. She's around 3-4 years old. She's very petite and is pretty shy, but once you start scratching her head, the purrs don't stop.
I adopted Spock and Buffy at the same time from the Petsmart that's literally on the other side of my apartment building. They had been there the longest (several months) and were considered by others as "less adoptable" (Spock because he's a black cat and Buffy because she's blind in one eye, as well as she's older), so I scooped them up.
I come from a family of cat lovers (animal lovers in general). My parents live on a huge farm where they have 15 cats, 4 dogs, 3 horses, 1 goat, 3 geese, 3 guinea fowl, 30+ chickens, 1 cockatiel, and 1 hamster. I still call the cats that live with my parents my babies (because they always will be), but I just couldn't separate one or two of them from their friends...so that's when I decided I'd adopt 2 (my apartment only allows max of 2) of my own. I miss my other babies (though I do see most of them every night when I Face Time my mom, ha!), but I absolutely adore my 2 furbabies here.
Aside from Spock and Buffy, I have a hedgehog named Violet, and 3 Betta fish named Pontus, Bay, and Daphne.
