I have a Ragdoll whose loose stool we are still working through. For me, I dampen a paper towel and use kitten shampoo to wash the hair with poop stuck to it - just make sure you throughly wash it out again :)

You can ask the vet or a groomer to do a "sani-shave".  That helps a lot of long haired kitties.

What did you find out at the vet?  Have you tried an almost all canned food diet with her?  I'm wondering if the food is a little too rich for her system.

Update, so I went to the vet on saturday. They listened to her lungs and checked her temperature. Everything is fine. Since they did a fecal check for her just a week ago, i didnt ask them to do one again this time. What the vet is saying is that she has URI. They gave her sone antibiotics and a eyedrop. That is pretty much it. And im told to keep up with the lysine i got from last time. For the diarrhea problem, they gave me a paste, forgot what the name is, ill go check when i get off work.
On the day of the vet visit, her stool was very normal. But it only lasted for a day. She is back to semi loose stools again. I made another appointment this saturday to bring her back for followup. Just to make sure she is getting better and not worse.

I was thinking about the same thing. But the breeder insists to keep feeding her the dry food. So i am not quite sure what to feed her.

Canned food is so much better for kitties, especially kittens.  Cats are carnivores and many cannot tolerate the grains and fillers in dry food.  Also, canned food has a high water content, which helps keep kitties hydrated and helps lessen skin issues.  I feed mostly canned, but do give my kitties a little bit of dry food as a "snack".

Yea, my vet suggests me to give her hills i/d food. Do you know about those. It says they are prescription diet, can cats keep eating them just like regular food?

I've had my kitten for 6 weeks - he's 19 weeks old this week - and have had a similar problem. My vet prescribed canikur pro probiotic paste which he has on his food twice daily when his tummy's upset. It seems to clear things up after 2-3 days. Was also given hills id pouches to rest his tummy for a few days - he normally has purina dried kitten food. Like you I didn't think he seemed stressed and seemed to have settled in well. Fingers crossed he's been ok for 2 weeks so maybe it'll just take a little bit more time with your little one. Mine's been a bit sneezy & has had slightly crusty nose & eyes the vet thinks it's probably dust from the litter cos he's been in the tray more often than normal also digs like mad to cover it all up which creates more dust. I've been using unscented baby wipes to clean him up and the vet told me to put Vaseline on his bum to stop the poo from sticking & making him sore. Also makes it easier to keep clean. When he got in a real mess I used a flannel and warm water (then threw out the flannel lol [emoji]128569[/emoji])

SD i/d is prescription only.  I'm not a big fan of Science Diet foods, but they're prescription foods are better.  I prefer Royal Canin prescription food.

Have you tried Benebac?  That might help.  Also, you might look into adding a bit of Royal Canin kitten food into the mix.  Your baby might not be able to handle a grain free diet.  My little boy can't, so I have to add in a little bit of a prescription tummy food for him.  He's still 95% grain-free.

I used hills I/D for a few days when my kitten had runny stool as well, a few days after I brought him home.  I just got maybe 3 cans, it seemed to help right away.  I slowly switched him over to all canned in different brands, and then after he had normal stool for a few days I added his dry very slowly back into his diet.  No issues since.  I wouldn't use I/D as a diet all the time, would also be expensive to do that, but it is fine temporarily in my opinion if they are having digestive issues.

Update, yesterday i started mixing up the orijen and i/d dry food thinking maybe orijen itself was too rich for her. Today, her stools are pretty normal, so that is a good sign. In terms of her URI, i still giving her the lysine and the eyedrops. She is still breathing kind of heavy when purring, but that might just be me. Hopefully she will be good in a few more days.

However i was just cleaning the litter box and it seems like she had a diarrhea again today. Dont know what is wrong, i will wait and see what happens with her stool tomorrow
