She was trying to catch a beetle and just tumbled down about half way. She doesn't seem to be in any pain or anything but I am still worried. The problem is that her back doesn't seem to be any worse but it wasn't very good to start with.

I have a vets appointment at 3.30 but am sooo worried!

I would just keep her quiet until her vet appointment, contained in a small room where there is minimum stuff to jump on. Best of luck with her at the vet.

Thanks. She has been put into the spare room for today - exactly for that reason - to keep her as quiet as possible.

The vet says that she is fine! Just a little constipated. Shew!

The sooner we move the better.

Thanks for all your thoughts.

Poor baby!! Glad she is ok. I have thought about what if I ever lived in a place with stairs.. I could just see my two chasing each other and tumbling down the stairs.. scary!!

That's scary. We have a two-storey winding staircase, and JC loves to play on the handrail. When he was little we put up "safety nets" in the form of tablecloths to break any falls.
