Hi all, first time poster :)

I've received a voucher for a 400g bag of Royal Canin 12+ cat biscuits - I just wondered if these would be ok to give my cat, only as a one off - I do hate to waste free stuff! She's incredibly fussy and will only eat Cannagan's dry, so she probably won't be too eager to try them anyway. She's 5, so a good few years off the 12+ age bracket.

Thanks.

If your cat is very fussy and used to Canagan I really wouldn't recommend feeding the Royal Canin. The composition of the two brands is totally different, and you're like to give her a stomach upset - if she'll eat it at all!

Why not get the food and donate it to a shelter? Pets At Home have food donations bins, as do a lot of independant pet shops (at least - they do round here!).

I'm assuming you're in the UK because of the Canagan, btw ;)

Yeah, I'm in the UK. Ah well that's a shame. I'l do what you suggested and take it along to a cat rescue place I know of.

Thanks.
