I have a 4 week old kitten that we found as a stray. Her name is Mia. Last night she laid on top of a blanket and my 5 yr old son didn't see her and stepped on her. When he picked her up her head was limp, blood coming from her mouth and nose. We rushed her to the vet and the vet did sn X-ray, nothing broken and heart and lungs look great. She has severe head trauma and I don't know what to do. She is responding to pain. Today she has a blinking reflex when you touch her eye, if you play with her ear she will wiggle it. While we were there she stretched like she just woke up from a sleep. But she has not opened her eyes yet, her pupils won't respond to light!! They tube fed her today and they said she was making a sucking sound like she was trying to nurse. She has shown a little improvement today but not a lot. Please help me, do I let her go or keep fighting. Has anyone had a similar problem??
