Has anyone ever had a kitten squint one eye for a day after a fall?

One of my kittens that I'm adopting out had the handle from a broom fall on its head during play. It gave a quick scream and continued playing afterwards. I took them to the vet and they said everything was okay. They said the only other tests they could do would be these tests that cost like $1200, but she said he probably doesn't need it. So has anyone else had a kitten squint after a kitten fell on its head or had something fall on top of it during play?  His eyelids look good, now fractures, no bleeding or cloudiness. It's only been a day since it happened it just seemed to happen the same day that they all went in for their shots before adoptions so I got him a checkup on his eye while I was there. He seems to have it open most of the time, I have some terramycin left from a few months ago, so if I wanted to could I use it on the kitten that is 8 weeks. I have enough for about 15 applications, but I don't want to use it if I don't need to.

I wouldn't use the terramycin without advice from the vet. Unless there is a an infection it's fighting, it would be pointless at best. It doesn't seem surprising to me that the kitten is squinting a bit after this. I would expect him to for a few days maybe.

I checked on him this morning, everything was good. The Meds was only gonna be if I saw a scratch.
