I have a very pregnant rescue that has to at least be 60 days along because we have had her that long today and she is letting our other 9 week rescues suckel and well and draging then to her nesting box she's been doing this for three days she hates people but thought out the day will climb in your lap and purr and let you rub her belly but then hours later she's back to being miss priss again. How much longer do you think we have her milk also came in three days ago. She's so big she can't even clean herself. And all she's done for two weeks is lay around I mean she won't do anything but go to the bathroom and eat that's it.

Also I can't really tell if she's lost her mucus plug because she really can't clean down there and when I try to clean she bites me and runs off. It is a mess though she needs a good rub down with a wash cloths the poor gal even has poo on her belly that I did manage to wipe away when she was having what I thought to be contractions...

It sounds like she's ready to have her babies anytime now. It's good to clean her with a warm, damp cloth after she uses the litter box. Many cats get too big to reach down there to clean themselves during late-stage pregnancy.

Thanks. I'm just confused because for the last few days she has been rolling on her back purring wanting us to rub her belly and then a few moments later back to her normal I despise you attitude lol. Can this just be her having almost like what they call braxton Hicks contractions just reading her body for the babies? I can't feel babies as much as I did a few days ago so they must have gotten into place in the birth canal so I'm assuming all is well. Thanks again

She sounds like a normal, uncomfortable pregnant cat to me :).

Thank you..well I was up phoning the vet and she let out a few meows and jumped in my lap I looked at her girl parts and they are all wet and her mucus plug is on her tail. I let her remove it and now she's been having strong contractions but no pushig she won't leave her box we brought her a little food and she's eating so I really hope its today. We are all on fall break over here so no plans or appts.

What do you mean it busted? Is there a kitten stuck inside her?

Yes there is I've tried everything called three different places her contrations stopped for over and hour and now she's having them again but they just don't seem strong I don't have the money for a vet visit I'm between checks and won't get paid for a week I've been calling family and friends plus two vets and a clinic. I have found a vet who will do it on a sliding scale but he's an hour away from me I can't risk driving all the way there for him to turn me away. We've been calling him for over an hour and the lines are busy

It's dead, right?

Just wait, the placenta will come out soon.

Do you think there are more babies?

I have six dollars to my name until next week I've called five vets and two told me that it would be between 500 and 800 dollars two do a csection I called another place that told me they don't even do pregnancies and one said to call around they don't have a vet in today just staff but that it could be as low as 200 and in the upper 7/8 if complications come she hasn't had any more contractions and the placenta hasn't came out I'm still looking up places who can help me I even tried care credit and they denied me. But the one kitten is doing good so far and I'm hoping he makes it he was in the birth canal for three hours and was still alive and the sack had broke 2 hours ago
