They can possibly have a so called fever coat, if mom had some infection during pregnancy.  They look typically alike black smoke, or looks alike a black point already as newborn.

It goes over with time, without negative consequences, and their true colors comes forward.

It may also be something else, although as I know, black isnt dominant gene.

That's not normal. She could have internal bleeding or an infection, or something equally serious. Can you take her to a vet?

Is she eating and drinking well? That's really important while she's still nursing the kittens. She should be getting as much kitten food as she wants, and offering her some KMR or full fat goat's milk would be a good idea too - it will both help hydrate her and get in some much needed extra calories.

I might also consider getting a second opinion. Lack of balance is definitely worrisome :(

Hoping she picks up soon :vibes:

Agree. Second opinion is a good idea.

She may have a calcium deficiency as well, so the kitten milk would be excellent for her. You can also mix a raw egg into her wet food for extra protein. Make sure she is eating kitten chow for the calories, and lots of wet food.

Please let us know if she is feeling any better.

Are they four or five weeks old? You should start putting down a mush for them. This is a page style wet food mixed with kmr. Serve in low dishes so they can eat.

Do you plan to get your cat spayed? It sounds like this litter was very hard on her.

Did you ever buy KMR (kitten milk replacer)? Have you taken her to the vet at all?

The kittens will be 5 weeks old on Wednesday of this week. Is it possible that the mother cat is in heat?

Are you going to feed them mush? They are clearly not getting enough food from nursing alone.

They are old enough for a bath now. Blue Dawn only. Warm, not hot, water. Dry well with a towel and keep them in a warm room until they are completely dry.

They can have Advantage II on their necks for fleas at 8 weeks/2 pounds.
